So I've been considering starting a new blog. A photoblog in fact. To be used as an outlet for my own artistic impulses. I have a blog on myspace and livejournal and could very well post there, but I've been feeling like doing something a little more serious with focus on subject matter thats not so personal. I finally settled on blogspot considering this seems like the most legitimate blog site out there. Who knows though, since in truth I don't browse other blogs unless I've been directed to a person's page from alternate links.
Truthfully, I'm not really sure what is going to change. I write when the mood strikes and don't have any solid plans for how much time I'm going to put into this thing. I'm not looking to become a fulltime blogger nor am I trying to create a name for myself through blogging. The simple fact is I'm more interested in forcing myself into a habit that's going to nurture my writing and photography skills. I'm not even sure about how I'm going to fit time into writing for this. As it is, with freelance work, personal art projects, interning for fecal face, and the maintenance of a somewhat demanding social life, I have little time for anything else. But I am motivated so we'll see how it goes. For now, this will be used as an artistic playground. So that's that. Not much more to say about it.
The next few days I'll be posting a photoblog on the Spring Capsule Design Festival that took place in Hayes Valley this memorial day weekend. Stay tuned for more!
